The workshop by John Beale was fun, transformative, fast-paced and enlightening experience for our group. To experience, engage and appreciate the concepts of the "flop zone" was amazing. I am delighted to have new awareness of the experience of authentic moments in myself and in my co-workers which I believe is very valuable in team work. As a group, I hope we will continue to facilitate the growth of this new awareness and knowledge as we continue our journey as a team. Thanks John for a fantastic workshop!

I thoroughly enjoyed John Beale's group activity at our staff retreat. Beforehand, I found myself thinking pessimistically about another 'artsy' discussion group dealing in platitudes and gross insincerity. The afternoon was just the opposite and was a pleasant surprise. I found John to be knowledgeable about the areas he led us in and completely sincere. It was evident that he lived these things. His was able to draw directly from his theatre experience to help us in our work lives. I highly recommend him.
Thank-you,

I found John to be an excellent teacher. My experience was of a teacher who showed a genuine connectedness and compassion for all the participants. He shared his insights, learning and experiences with us in a playful manner. Helping us to reconnect to that playfulness in all of us, that part which lay dormant but never forgotten. Now revitalized.
Thanks,
Richard
Mondays have become my favorite day too! The first few were rather terrifying, but then it seemed as if whatever plug had fallen out inside my soul was reconnected.

Thanks for guiding me through one of the most terrifying and exhilarating moments in my adult life.
I very much appreciated your guidance during the last two days, and have certainly found some new perspectives that I would want to pursue further.

Thanks a bunch for your stellar workshop. I kind of feel like if I had come to Halifax to take a zen meditation workshop I wouldn't have made nearly the progress towards accepting the present moment as I did with you and the crew.
I think i might have a closer understanding of what the Taoist mean by "non-doing" now. Thanks!

It reminds me of Ikebana class with Watanabe Sensei, this very petite old Japanese woman with a very quiet voice who does these knockout huge...as in installations...flower arrangements. She would say '...better you start too much, then you take out'
Thanks again for the wonderful precision in guiding us through all these shticks and making, well, almost all of us such gluttons for more and more failure and torture.

What a stupendous weekend! I thoroughly enjoyed the work, managing to stay pretty loose (vulnerable) as we leapt from one challenging task to another. No marked paralysis, physically or psychically. I do feel I made some real headway in discovering "who I am" in clown terms i.e. essence. I surprised myself!
Again, thank you for a most exhilarating experience. You're a WONDERFUL teacher.
Best,
