THE PEGGY SHOW
Created by John Beale and Graham Percy
John Beale
stars in this hilarious and irreverent look at Peggy and her history in
the cove. The show is steeped in the comic traditions of Buster Keaton,
Peter Sellers, Monty Python and Fawlty Towers. After the devastating
shipwreck of the S.S. Lothrop 196 years ago, only one survivor lives to
tell her tale. Get ready for some gut busting laughs as you meet the
legendary Peggy and her trusty assistant Manuel Laboure. This live act
consists of one million years of history, impossible stunts, a live
reenactment of the shipwreck and plenty of good heartfelt laughs.
Peggy's Cove will never be the same now that Peggy's back in town again! The Peggy Show ran from 2004-2009 at The Old Red Schoolhouse in Peggy's Cove.
"Brilliantly executed physical comedy.....
The packed audience, toddlers to seniors, laughed from start to finish."

Chronicle Herald Review
When you studied in my school in Paris I recognized you as a great
actor.
When I saw your show I recognized a great writer, poet and actor. But I
knew it already.
Thanks for your show.

"A
brilliant combination of physical comedy and wit, at once intelligent
and heartfelt, which takes the tradition of Commedia del'Arte and its
successors -- Shakespeare and Moliere -- to new heights. I loved this
show. It is a 45-minute, sidesplitting roller coast ride through the
history of Peggy's Cove which ends at Gate 3 of your friendly
neighbourhood tour bus line. Get your ticket before there are none left
to be had."
